Do your computers have LAN/Ethernet connection?

Yes, all our computers have a minimum of a single gigabit (1000Mbit) LAN connection.

Are your computers ready for internet?

Yes all our computers have a gigabit LAN connection for broadband. If you want to use dial up you'll need to request for a dial-up modem to be installed.

How many USB ports do your PCs have?

All our computers have a minimum of 6 USB ports, 4 at the back and 2 at the front. If that's not enough you can always buy a 4 port USB hub.

What Motherboards do you guys use?

We use different motherboards for different builds. We select the best suited motherboard for the job and we only use ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards as they are great quality. If you have a specific motherboard or features in a motherboard that you would like, let us know and we'll do our best to arrange this.

How big are the Power supplies (PSU)?

All our computers have a minimum of a 450Watt quality power supply unit to ensure enough power to all your computers components. If more than 450Watts is needed for the build we select the best suited power supply for the job.

Do you guys build custom laptops?

No unfortunately we don't build custom laptops at this stage.

Can I connect my computer to my TV? either HDMI, DVI, Component(red, blue, green RCA) or Composite (yellow RCA cable)?

All our computers support DVI out, and all our add-on graphic cards will support HDMI, DVI and Composite out. HDMI connector will require a DVI to HDMI converter which we do not supply. Component connection will be from S-Video out, which most graphic cards are supplied with. Composite will require a S-Video to Composite cable.

Do your computers have sound cards?

Yes all our computers have at a minimum onboard audio out(for speakers), audio in, microphone in. A large portion of our computers will also have high quality 8 channel (front L/R, center, rear L/R, mid L/R and Subwoofer) onboard audio with SPDIF. If you are after an add-on sound card, please don't hesitate to ask.

Do you guys do finance?

We, unfortunately, do not have any finance options available at the moment.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers all electronic component supplied by Spanner Box . It covers full repair or replacement for all mechanical, electrical and manufacturing faults for parts and labour costs within the warranty period from when the computer was sold. It does not cover any physical or electrical damage that components suffer directly. i.e physical damage like dropping the computer or electrical damage like a power surge, (we advise using a surge protector).
